Hi Som, where are you from? If you are from Asia, a lot of people buy in Europe, because of the tax-advantage. (and the prices of some designer bags are ridiculous high). I would suggest Europe, they cost at least €1,500 a piece, depending on the style you want.

Generally the mini luggage is around: 2,700. For daily use, you want to pick the grainy leather instead of smooth calfskin. I just heard that Celine in EU started to stock the fall collection two days ago.
Light beige and black are both neutral colors, but beige is great if you wear a lot of dark clothes.

Prior may 2013, the price was $2,000. As far as our updates, it’s still $2,300. Let me know if you find the nano, it’s very hard-to-get nowadays.

Hello! I was just wondering about the availability of the Celine micro luggage in cobalt, smooth leather in Europe? I am currently holidaying in Europe and am at Switzerland now. I will be heading to Amsterdam, Paris, London, Heidelberg and Brussel and I am determined to get the Celine micro luggage! I went to the Celine boutique in Florence and the SA told me that the luggages were out of production which was a real shocker.
I am dying to be a proud owner of a Celine Micro Luggage and it would help me out a lot to know about the availability. Thank you so much!

Hi alex! They didn’t have the nano luggages and the micro luggages in the Celine store in Florence. They did have two minis though, and they’re bicolor if I recall correctly. I prefer the micro because I think the mini will end up being a tad too heavy for me.
I asked about the nano and micro luggages and they said they didn’t have any in-store. When I asked about when the stocks were coming in, he told me specifically that the luggages are out of production and once they are done with the two minis, that’s it. I don’t believe him, though.
My SIL just went to celine at Florence today and was told that the new series luggage bag will be out on 18th June. I want to get the mini celine luggage summer 2013.
Hi Sam, the micro are indeed harder to find than other sizes, but he shouldn’t say that the luggages are out of production. Can’t trust the information from SA, I was once told that the PST was out of stock, while they were available in Paris.
You should try Celine in Paris, we received a message from someone who bought the Celine micro luggage in black and white last month. Usually supply comes in on thursday and friday. I hope they have your color in stock. Keep us informed.
I think the SA means that they are having new series of luggage bag coming in. (the new season bags), that’s why she said: ‘out of production’

I didn’t manage to get the Celine at all. Amsterdam was out of stock (the name of the store was de bijenkorf or something. I can’t remember the name exactly). Galleries Lafayette in Paris is out too. I was there on the 18th, and was told the stock would be in on 19th morning, but I left Paris by then so I can’t make sure. Am currently in the UK now but I won’t be looking out for the Celine luggage anymore because I already got myself another bag.
This bag is really hard to find haha sigh!

1. First, if you find your Celine mini luggage in the EXACT style you want like color and skin, you should buy it on spot. It will be pity if you go to NYC and come back to find out its gone right?
2. But generally because you come from Denmark, the price is a bit cheaper in Europe. But if you buy it in tax-free states in US, you might get it cheaper.

You are looking at two timeless bag, the GST and the luggage are both classics. But the GST is famous for black in shw and gwh. The luggage, there are many more styles. I like luggage as casual, so if it’s an everyday bag I would go for the luggage.

I have both Chanel GST and Celine Micro. I love them both! Depends if you like carrying your bag on the shoulder more or on arm. The celine can get a bit heavy and there is only one way to wear it but nonetheless it is beautiful! I find the GST might be more durable because the celine get scratched easily. But don’t carry too much weight on the GST or the bag will deform and look saggy over time.
I Miss JL, thanks for sharing this. I was wondering, is the Celine Micro practical? Isn’t it too small in size for essentials? When do you often use the Celine Micro?
The Micro is a good size! Sometimes I find it too big. The GST have more compartments. I also have the celine Nano which is small but surprisingly can carry a lot. I actually carry the nano more than the micro. If you have Instagram you can view it on my iG @missjennylam. Hope this helps!

I like all bags in different sizes for different occasions. The nano is great for everyday. It’s fits quite a bit. I can put my long Chanel wallet, keychain, sunglasses case and still have room for tampons, lipstick etc. I’m not a fan of carrying a big bag to a nightclub. Maybe to a dinner party or shopping.

For work then the celine micro would be perfect! Also depending on what kind of work you are talking about. I took my celine to a pool party today and I also took it to the office. So it’s great! The GST is a classic. It is good for all occasions you just have to watch out for deforming it. But then again I have seen deformed celine luggage as well.
If I am not wrong, that depends on the leather. I have seen pebbled leather Celine luggage that does not hold shape. I hate it when it doesn’t hold shape.
