I have a lot of succes in Italy, it’s also the cheapest if you can get tax-refund. But the euro is also very low at this moment (compared to GBP). I would also try in Berlin.

My husband surprised me with a solid black Celine micro luggage tote that he purchased in New York city. However, we are going to Milan in two months. How much would I save if I bought it in Milan and is that bag easy to find in Milan?
Hi Nancy, do you have a picture of that bag? We think its will be a couple dollar cheaper in Milan, because of the VAT refund. But the micro is not so easy to find, some stores have a lot of stock, you need to get lucky.
The dollar is strong right now. Based on the pricing listed above (1850 euro) will be equivalent to $2100USD + 14% VAT refund. The vat is 21-22% but the service takes about an 8% cut.
If he paid out the door, after tax, about $3170… You’d be saving around the ball park of $1300.
