Hi Emily, where did you read about the taxes? You’re from UK, so you don’t get VAT refund like NON-eu citizen. The only problem you have is indeed the currency differences between UK and EU.
So the Trio Pouch cost in UK: £730 GBP and in Paris: €750 euro’s. If you convert the euro’s back to GBP, that will be: around 593 GBP, then yes its cheaper to buy in Paris.

I’m going to Italy, France and London next week and am going to get a luggage phantom from celine! (Mad love this bag!!!! And I’m very excited!) However, I’m very confused with the sizes. While surfing around for information, I saw that there are “small” and “large” for this bag but celine website says “medium”. I walked in celine boutique in Singapore, hoping to enquire more on the sizes available but the sales associate was hostile and insisted that there has only been ONE size for the bag and no other sizes! I felt so embarrassed, like I just asked about something unauthentic in an authentic boutique!
So can somebody shed some light here on the sizes of the bag and also whether they would be easily available in the Europe region I mentioned? I’m looking at getting the croc skin or grained one.
And last question, where would you recommend to get the bag from – Italy, France or London ?

You should never be ashamed for asking questions! But the Phantom comes in two sizes, small and large;
Small Celine Phantom Bag: 10′ x 11′ x 12′
Large Celine Phantom Bag: 11′ x 13′ x 14′
Prices depend on the material. The best to buy is in Italy for tax-refund reason, but if you can find you favorite color and size, you should just buy it. Generally tax-refund is around 11 – 14 percent. Keep us updated =D.
