Chanel Purchase Limitations

Because of high demands and low stock, Chanel has to enforce purchase limitations in certain locations. In Australia, you can buy as much bags as you want, but in Europe it’s a different story. There is a lot of Chanel hunters and tourists in EU, especially in big cities like Paris, London and Rome. To avoid a few people buying up all the available stocks, Chanel has enforced strict purchase rules.

• In the UK: Limit is 1 bag and 2 SLG per 60 days
• In other EU countries like Paris: 1 bag per passport and 4 SLG per 90 days

The rules can change in different locations and sometimes with the store manager’s approval; they will allow you to buy 1 more bag.
