Hermes Opli Bag

The Hermes Opli Clutch was released in the Spring Summer 2017 collection, but a clutch is a clutch. You will not carry it much at day, because it’s not convenient. So Hermes decided to create the Opli Shoulder Bag for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection, which is a more useful version imo. This bag has the same shape like the Opli Clutch, but it comes with a shoulder strap.

The Design

It’s really obvious what the designer was thinking when he had this bag in mind. He wanted to design a minimalistic handbag but with a classic look. The bag also needed to be useful, practical and more importantly, different than all the other handbags in Hermes’s classic collection.

The Opli Shoulder Bag is slightly different in shape and size when comparing to the clutch edition. First of all, everything is bigger including the flap. The Opli Bag has sharp edges; the top has a rectangle shape while the bottom has a trapezoid shape.

The signature Clou De Selle Strap can be adjusted to carry cross body or on your shoulder. This strap is also refined with silver hardware. This bag will come in different leather, but for now it’s available in Novillo Bull Calfskin.

The Interior

The interior is magnificent designed; it has more compartment than the clutch edition. In the interior, you will find one large center compartment, a smaller but front and back compartment. This bag can easily carry all your daily stuff and more. It’s a high quality Hermes Bag without the excessive bragging because there is no logo crafted on the front.
