The Kelly and the Birkin Bags are no doubt the most popular handbags in the Hermes Collection. However, the Herbag Zip Bag is also a natural choice for a lot of bag lovers thanks to the design that looks similar to the Kelly Bag and the cheaper price tag. But today we want talk about the biggest size, the GM, the Hermes Herbag Zip Retourne Cabine Bag.

For as far as we know, there were 3 sizes available for the Herbag Zip Bag – the PM, MM and the GM sizes. The GM is the Cabine version, but it hasn’t been covered much on the internet.

The Herbag Zip Retourne Cabin Bag, as the name says, is a travel bag. It’s created to help you store valuable accessories while travelling with the airplane from one place to another. But we can use it as we please! And because XL and XXL Bags are so popular lately, why not call it the Herbag Zip XL Bag and categorize it as one of the Big Bags like the Celine Big Bag or the Chanel XL Bag.

Considering the prices, the Cabin version is much more expensive than the normal sizes like the PM or MM. For example, the MM size of the Herbag Zip Bag is retailing for around $2200 – $2400 USD (as per today 21-8-2019), but this Retourne Cabin Bag is priced at $4050 USD. That is almost double, but is the size also twice as big?

Yes it’s much larger. While the MM size is measured 39 x 31 x 15 (L x H x D) cm, the Cabine Retourne is measured at 52 x 36 x 20 (L x H x D) cm, that’s a lot more space.

Besides the size, the design is the same like the material used – canvas with hunter cowhide leather. It also comes with a shoulder strap and a back pocket for instant-access to your essentials. The interior features 1 internal pocket and 1 big space for organizing your personal belongings. It also comes with 1 internal zip pouch.

The Herbag Zip Retourne Cabine Bag is much wider in shape, so it also stands out when you’re carrying this bag. I think this bag is amazing especially because the style is so hot in fashion and big bags are becoming more famous everyday.
