If you have a hard time of gather money to buy your first Chanel classic flap bag, your dream bag, then consider the GST. It’s as useful as the classic flap and much bigger. The price is much lower too, which means you get a great value for money. But you really want to stick with the classic flap or the reissue 2.55, Chanel PST, Chanel GST and even to the Cerf tote to make sure you have a Chanel classic in your wardrobe.

there is normal size PST and XL PST.
Normal size PST: 10″ x 9.5″ x 3.5″
PST XL: is approximately 30cm (W) x 30cm (H) x 10cm (D)
How much is it in milan for the normal PST? And is it available there?
Hi Chrissie, PST normal size in Milan: €1,390 (price increase since they re-release it a month ago), but yes it’s available, but depends on the day you enter the boutique and the availability in stock.

We usually hear from people that they buy the normal PST, not the XL, unless they need to carry a lot of items like baby stuff. The difference is only that the XL is longer. But if you are thinking about the PST XL, why not consider the GST? A lot of people choose GST because it’s a classic.

Hi Chrissie, the PST is a classic, it’s available in all season. The GST is much wider, but it has more space. I would recommend just buy the bag you love, if you like the PST shape more, then I would go for the PST. They are both famous. Are you from Europe?

Hi Pei, crazy enough we heard that Heathrow is selling GST while we were convinced that they don’t sell iconic bags. We were also informed by the community about the GST prices in Heathrow:

The lady at the Heathrow Chanel emphasised it to me that they will be able to reserve the item for you but only for 24hrs before you fly (the Chanel Boutique is after the security-check @terminal 3, hence the reason for the exclusive of VAT). Therefore she insist that to:ALWAYS RING THEM TO CHECK STOCK AVAILABILITY BEFORE ACTUALLY GOING THERE. Their no is: 020 8754 1000 (if u r dialing from the UK) & +44 20 8754 1000 (the rest). Hi Puspa, the A20995 and A50995 are both Chanel GST. The A50995 is the latest and the upgrade version. a20995 is from the 2008 fall/winter collection. The a50995 is from the 2010 fall/winter collection. A few difference in the a50995; zipper is changed and they added a Chanel signature on the circle that is linked to the handle. I just got the 2013 XL GST in dark navy blue. I wasn’t too sure about it because most reviews say it’s too big, but I LOVE big bags and I LOVE this bag. I’m 5’4″ and it suits me perfectly. I live in Texas and the SA at Neiman Marcus said it’s the last one in dark navy blue. They only have one in off-white.

I have seen gold and silver both!! It’s not that one is more popular than the other, it’s also personal taste. Note that the gwh is more attention grabbing, black and GOLD. black and Silver is more neutral color, it’s a calm mixture. Both are great for everyday, chic and matches almost all your warde robe.

GST Size : 13″ x 10″ x 5.25″
GST XL Size : 16.2″ x 5.2″ x 10.2″ (but the GST XL is not available in all Chanel boutiques, they rare. But most people prefer GST)
