I’m going to buy my 1st Chanel n ONLY Chanel bag as a gift from my husband. I like the Chanel Boy but unsure if I should get theClassic timeless flap. Although I like the Boy bag, a friend of mine says the bag may look too young on me in 10 years time when I’m in my 40s. The timeless is a better investment according to her. Would appreciate some advice from u guys. Thanks.

Hi Sharon, don’t forget to share a pic with us! When picking up the bag, check the leather to make sure there are no crack, scratches and so on. And also make sure you get everything: the authentic card, the dustbag and the boxes. Re-sale value will drop if you miss any items.

I noticed the GBP price of the chanel (old medium) is posted at 2710gbp. has there been a recent price increase in the UK? Per old postings in early 2015, and at chanelprices.com, old mediums are still at 2690gbp. Thanks!
