The Design

A lot have changed comparing the Cassandra Chain Bag with the Classic Cassandra Bag. So we will not go into the comparison. Instead we will just treat this bag as a new obsession.

The Cassandra Chain Bag features an envelope shaped flap, but the edge of the flap is highlighted with a stitched V line. The overall appearance is timeless and classic, especially due to the iconic YSL logo crafted just below the flap.

The bag is made in calf leather, which is strong and durable. The double curb chain adds to the feminine touch. The sides are refined with beautiful studs for the final touch.

If you’re wondering what kind of hardware Saint Laurent uses, it’s bronze metal hardware. And the YSL logo is actually a working closure – it’s a clip fastener.
