I haven’t been to the Zoo for a while, I went there once or twice and only when I was a little girl. I remembered the monkeys, tigers, elephants and even pink flamingos. So when I walked pass the Lanvin department store a few weeks ago, I got the Zoo feeling again. I stopped and just kept looking at the new clothes, bags and oh-my shoes, somehow they were intriguing and arousing my curiosity. It felt like Lanvin has brought the urban jungle back to life, but with the combination of sumptuous luxury. My eyes went to look for the king’s seat with Lanvin’s new bag in leopard print, then I moved to the doll that was embellished in leopard print, but the shoes were very attractive. The theme is obvious; Alber Elbaz got inspired by the natural beauty of a woman and the nature, blend them together with luxury and you get fashion zoo. Before I walked away, I thought to myself: ‘the window decoration alone is a great experience’. Items starting €250 at Lanvin.
