Last week we talked about the DiorAvenue Bag, which is also a brand-new release and the bag is also available in the signature Oblique Print. Here we’re going to introduce a separate line; it’s called the Dior Oblique Bag Collection. In this collection you will find shoulder bags, tote bags and even duffle bags in Oblique Canvas.

The Design

The story of the Oblique started with the Oblique Necklace. But somehow it has been copied and embellished on the handbags in the recent years. Every handbag in the Oblique Collection is crafted with the Oblique Print, which is basically the DIOR logo crafted diagonally on the Canvas. Because of its popularity, this print has been adopted as the house’s signature print, similar to the Monogram Canvas of Louis Vuitton.

It’s quite unique that Dior has made a separate collection for the Oblique. In this collection you will find a tote bag attached with a pouch on the front. There is curvy shoulder bag, but also a bowling bag. Some handbags are made with the new CD logo on leather patch and some are made with the new CD lock in gold hardware.
