It’s been a while that I’ve seen this bag, but they are still available. I like to call the Chanel Coco rider flap bag a mixture between the classic flap bag and the boy bag. Oh boy, I love this bag.

And how about the colors? I have seen them in Red, Beige and Black. And if you already own a black classic flap bag, but you don’t have the courage to buy another one in red because the color is too risky, you can try the Coco rider flap bag in red. A bit cheaper, but then again you are covered.
How did I know that the Coco rider is still available?
Someone spotted it in Greece and was selling for €1,800, the small size of course. And if there’s anything that I can make you more happier, here are the style codes and sizes:

Yup! The calfskin looks wrinkly; is the the aged or distressed calfskin? Do the both refer to the same?
Also curious about the durability and ease of maintenance of this material as I would really love a chanel that lasts and is easy to care for. Really appreciate your advice on this as I’m a newbie in this 🙂

Is defintely not the distressed, I belief it’s the aged. Distressed looks a lot like the reissue 2.55 you see here:

The calfskin is more easily to take care of than the lambskin. The caviar imo is the best. So you don’t need to baby it too much, as long as you just take a good care of it. Of course abusing it will destroy the bag.

Congratulations, can you tell us more which leather you picked, color and hardware?
I got the aged calfskin, medium size in black! Ruthenium hardware with burgundy strap at the top. Burgundy on the inside too! Everything is perfect about it!
