Are Chanel Bags From France or Italy?

A lot of designer brands has settled their production in Italy, that’s because there is a large supply of skilled craftsman available. There is no doubt that Chanel bags, made in Italy, holds the same quality as made in France.
But more importantly, you should buy your dream bag as soon as Chanel has stock. You have no power in negotiation if the SA doesn’t have your dream bag in stock.

Jiggaman is correct. They can legally make the bag in China/Malaysia then make the inside label in France and proudly say “Made in France”. I’ve had the pleasure of going to one of their legit factories in China. You’re paying for the cost of the real estate of the store that the bag is sold, nothing else.

Well, if on the bag says “made in Italy” you can be sure it was made in China and only the final “touch” was added in Italy. The whole industry is as fake as it can be. Only Burrbery officialy admited that they moved production to China. Other producers are using loop holes to decive customers that their products where made in Europe, when in fact, most of it is made in China.

I have a “Uniform” chanel bag I just recieved and I believe it to be fake…it says made in Romania?
To my knowledge they are not made in Romania…just France and Italy..

I have a Chanel handbag made in France. It has a serial number inside this handbag in a small plastic enclosure beginning with 939. This handbag zips on both sides. On side zips with a tassel on one side.
