The bag is called 2.55 because it have been released from since February 1955 by Coco Chanel. Obviously the bag have a very rich history and have gone through many changes. Still upon today, it’s the ‘IT’ bag, the Chanel ‘Classics’ and ‘Timeless’. In February 2005, Karl Lagerfeld re-made the 2.55 as Coco Chanel had made in 1955. The name Reissue is used to commemorate the original design of the bag.
The 225 is the second smallest size of the 2.55 reissue and is comparable to the Chanel medium classic flap.
