Sometime ago I received an interesting question: ‘Can you advice me a great backpack for casual use?’. If only Proenza Schouler had released their new PS backpack earlier, I would definitely add that to my recommendation. But the backpack trend doesn’t seem to end; instead it starts to expand, getting more feminine, minimal and elegant.
With icons related to the PS1 like the signature metal-tab closure and the swinging top handle, we know that Proenza Schouler had made the right decision. As far as the design goes, it looks similar to the previous released PS courier bag, which was built partly inspired by Celine’s minimalism; light weighed and butterly soft. But I like the smooth and strong calf-leather; these bags can be extremely useful for traveling like making city tours or climbing mountains. Though most backpacks replace style for functionality, the Proenza Schouler version remains fashionable. Interior is structured like a lady-bag, crafted with two zip pockets and two pouch pockets, it has an external front phone compartments for your emergency need with ‘Proenza Schouler’ stamped logo to make it more branded.
