Before I purchased my first Chanel handbag, I had always dreamed of what it would be like actually own one. Every time I’d find myself at a Chanel boutique my anxiety would start to rise. My anticipations would get the best of me, and I would leave the shop sad and more indecisive than before.
Into my search of finding the right Chanel bag for me, I ended up setting my sights on the Chanel East West Flap bag. I like the East West Flap because it favored the classic editions of the Flap, and it wasn’t as expensive. When the day finally came to purchase the East West Flap, the saleswoman told me that the bag was discontinued. I was so devastated. After so much time spent trying to find the perfect bag for me, I’d come to a negative end point.
I don’t understand why Chanel would discontinue such a gorgeous bag. Yes, it is a bit more inexpensive than the classic flaps but that doesn’t change the fact the East West Flap is still an admirable bag. When the saleswoman told me the news, so many questions filled my head. I was an internal wreck. I called several other boutiques, hoping and praying that they would have the East West Flap in stock. Yet, there was no luck. I began to think that Chanel most likely discontinued it to get more people to pay more money for the classic Flap bag.
Even after my bad experience with the Chanel East West Flap, I still wanted to purchase a Chanel bag. So, I started out on another search. I ended up deciding to go with the Chanel classic flap bags. I discovered that the reissue edition had a vintage look to that didn’t really match my type of style. In midst of all this, I heard that Chanel handbags were going to experiencing a $400 price bump.
So before long, I ended up purchasing a Chanel Medium Flap bag. Even though my heart was set on the East West Flap, I’ve fallen totally in love with my Medium Flap. It’s my pride and joy.

What do I do!? Buy a black with silver chaim or wait until I get Paris( in 15 days!)! Helpp!

Don’t buy anything until you GET what you WANT. I once bought a Chanel GST in SHW while I wanted it in GWH. You know I did later on? I SOLD IT, because I didn’t like the SHW.
If you are traveling from city to city I would call every single Chanel store in the city to ask whether they have exactly what you was looking for.
Here’s my experience in Paris: They have like 10+ Chanel boutiques there, but in different location. Only walking will kill your feet. I love shop until I drop, but I dont like to drop and end up with empty hands. Chanel in Paris are mostly sold out during weekends. So give the boutiques a call (you can check up their phone numbers on http://www.Chanel.com website) and ask whether they have the bag available and let them reserve for you!

This is the third city without my chanel! In Germany they told me that they’ve a list and in 3 or 4 months a can get my bag!!

OMG, call London!, Call Paris! I’m 100% sure they have the medium black in gwh. I am quite suprise Germany told you they have a list, my experience is that they don’t. In paris they are mostly sold out in the weekends and the the next week they have immediately inventories. This is what the SA told me. I am so excited for you, pls let me know when finally got it.
