Longchamp is a French brand selling luxury goods. The company was established in 1955 and have long, rich history. Since 1970 the brand have expanded worldwide. The first boutique was opened in Hong Kong and Japan. Maybe one of the best launch ever was Longchamp’s Le Pliage collection of travel bag. No only did it capture the attention of the public, but is also have reach to become one the ‘IT’ bags in the fashion world.
Longchamp Le Pliage
Le pliage is the public most favorite Longchamp bag. The bag serve as a travel bag, but can be use for work or as a weekender. Available in different kind of leather and skins. The design of Le pliage was inspired by a Japanese art of Origami, it’s simple but still ingenious. The bag comes with a double strap and interior slip pocket. The material nylon is extremely light, making it comfortable for you to carry. On the top of that, it’s also water-resistant. Excellent for traveling and everyday use.

Where are longchamp bags made?? Anyone knows?
it depends, i saw some made in china, turkey, france.
Depends upon the style. Some Le Pliage are now Made in China ( used to be in France only) I dont buy online – I go to the Boutique / Nordstom / Bloomingdales’s bec. I want to see the tag where it was made.
Small items / style were Made in Tunisia and China.
I went to Livermore (CA) Outlet in Feb. and there’s PRADA boutique, I checked their small / cosmetic pouch in diff. colors, I flipped the tag and saw Made in China at the back.
Most of New Burburry items are also Made in China.
Well, to each his own/ choice in buying these expensive bags.
