I received a funny question a few days ago from Daisy. She asked: What is your opinion about this bag. Somehow I like backpack more than I like purses. Does this backpack look chic like a handbag. Or does it look childish?

So I clicked at the link she gave me and it turned out to be the Longchamp Le Pliage line, but then in a backpack style. One thing immediately hit into my mind, the Balenciaga…

I wrote her back. Do you know the Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag? It’s a classic and one of the most famous style in the world. Absolutely gorgeous. The Le Pliage backpack has the exact same design as the Le Pliage tote bag. Even the material is the similar. So it is childish? No way!

Her question makes me think of the Balenciaga classic city bag and the classic day bag. Some people bought the city bag because they love to hold bags on their hands. While other love the Classic day bag because they just love to carry it around/over their shoulder. It’s just what you are used to.

The backpack is more than just a bag. It’s excellent for travelling, especially when you are on a city tour. Backpacks are extremely comfortable when you need to carry a lot, while a tote feel very heavy after a while.

And does the Balenciaga day bag looks chic like the Balenciaga classic bag? Oh yes.

And does the Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag looks chic just like backpack version. Yes yes.
