I think its okay to buy replicas keeping your budget in mind and especially if you want to own a lot of stuff and make your buck go a long way. However you should have a few authentic luxury brand products too if you ae into this kind of stuff. Now many companies like Botkier have come up with an inexpensive line for their luxury products to appeal to more masses who appreciate high quality products but cannot afford it or think its wasting money.

Actually, this is a very interesting topic. Nowadays, fake designer bags looks so real that you can’t recognize it with your naked eyes. You need to be skilled, have some knowledge about fashion, and then look for details. For the newbies who are so eager and hurried to buy their first Chanel bag, that they look for an used bag, or a brand-new Chanel bag that sells much lower than the original price, but still in the thousands, we heard plenty of stories like these. Their first experience?

Disappointment!

But there are people who love Chanel, can’t afford the thousands of dollars and settle with a replica that cost a few hundred bucks. The more you pay, the closer it gets to the authentic Chanel bag.

But why do people love Chanel so much? What is the reason to burn their wallet just for a bag? This is what most people will think. The consignment stores knows that people who want the Birkin, would pay a higher price for it. That’s how they make their profit.

But let’s go back to the subject…

Let’s say you bought an authentic Hermes Birkin bag that cost $10,000. And your friend has a Birkin bag too, but hers cost $250. It’s a replica, but a good one, because people keep commented her saying things like: ‘Om my god is that a Birkin?’, ‘Lucky girl You, Birkin!’, ‘I love your bag’, ‘I am so jealous at your Birkin’.

And your friend keep responding: ‘Thanks, I love it too’, ‘Yeah I am pretty lucky’, ‘It cost me a fortune’, ‘One day you will get your own Birkin too, I know that’.

Now here’s your friend, sitting next to you in Starbucks. You two has the same exact same Birkin, and also in term of colors. How would you respond:

– Act like nothing happens
– Ask her why she is lying about her fake bag
– Getting angry and eliminate her from your friend list
– Getting sarcastic toward her
– Wish her luck
– Be happy for her
– Compliment her bag
