One of the big launches of Fendi is the new Selleria Line, which is supported by a short movie called the ‘Adele’s Dream’. Mainly the Fendi Adele bag, named after the founder, is the main character in the story. The movie takes us into a journey, traveling from 1925 to 2013 and showing how Fendi is capable to retro and modernized an iconic bag while still maintaining its traditional Roman heritage.

The scene starts with the Adele bag and reveals how it came alive through an animated rose that blossom. Every tiny movement of the flower has been made by hand and taken on picture one-by-one. This is a painful process that has been purposely chosen to reflect the craftsmanship of the Adele bag, which is handcrafted by 1.328 Selleria tone-on-tone stitches. The refinement requires powerful skilled artisans.

But what’s more intriguing are the new models from the new Selleria line, including signature Adele 1328 bag, Anna 1322 bag, Franca 2176 bag and Carla 650 bag. These bags are named respectively after its Founder Adele Fendi and her five daughters, Franca, Paulo, Carla, Alda and Anna, which is according to Fendi: ‘To feel one-of-a-kind, just like the female Fendi dynasty’.
