When Bagaholic (our member) was seeking for a Chanel bag, she wanted something that can be worn cross body. She loves the Wallet on chains idea, but isn’t that too small? Yes, if you crave for a bigger bag, the space in the WOC is indeed limited. Fortunately Chanel has plenty of choices.

Bagaholic is looking for a size that’s not too big like the Maxi or too small, like the WOC. She fell in love with the patent leather, because it’s sharp and there’s low maintenance need. Neiman Marcus introduced a patent leather bag that made her curious. Apparently it just came out and is from the fall and winter 2013 collection. If you compare it to the classic flap bag, it’s so much more modern while still maintaining that timeless touch like the diamond patterns, interwoven chain link and the iconic CC closure. However, it has fewer pockets than the classic flap bag.

The bag regular is called CC Classic Twist. So basically it’s like the classics, but the inside is different and there isn’t a back pocket. Also the patent leather is only on the front. The side and bottom of the bag is lambskin leather.

It’s always exciting to walk into a Chanel boutique, it’s like opening a surprise gift. What’s inside? What’s inside? Chanel never truly reveals everything they have in stock, not the styles, colors or leathers. And not all boutique are stocked evenly, sometimes it can be painful when you are looking for a particular bag. But it’s that mystery that keeps us running back and forth.
