Now for those that haven’t read our previous review, every season the house introduces new seasonal flap bag that are very similar (or almost similar) to the Classic Flap Bag. But regardless whether it resembles the Classics or not, we still love all the seasonal flap bags that Chanel creates. Now for those that are interested, this flap bag is less expensive than the Classic Flap Bag, but it has the same timeless look.

The theme for this season is futuristic and that explains the beautiful shape of these handbags. The flap is designed in diamond quilting while the other part of the body is made in smooth leather. The vintage golden hardware is another essential element; it makes the thick 90’s-inspired interlocking CC closure perfect. And then there is the extra large chain that resembles to the Boy Chanel Bag. This chain is also made with a leather strap in the ending for the comfort carry.

The bag is made in calfskin and iridescent calfskin, which is a durable leather like the caviar, but it also feels as smooth as the lambskin. In general, calfskin is easy to maintain, so you won’t need to worry about constant babying it.
