Sometimes I ask the question; why this and why that? After receiving a quality tip from our member ‘Vixxen’, we just needed to figure this one out. What’s happening to our favorite Chanel boutique store in Heathrow?
Heathrow was a favorite spot for most European bag lovers, especially terminal 3. Our favorite Chanel boutique is open from 7.00 to 22.00. It’s stocked with bag, bags and bags. Oh yes, Chanel jumbo flap bag, Chanel 2.55 reissue and tote and medallions. They are all there and discounted.The Chanel boutique in Heathrow airport was located in the tax-free area. So Chanel lovers could buy their bag at 14% discount because there are no administration fee involved. Some will even buy a cheap ticket, fly there for the night, just to get their hands on their favorite bags.But recently some disappointing news have been announced. Chanel is going to stop stocking iconic bags at Heathrow (like the classics). That’s their new policy. What a disappointing news.So what else is there to do? US and Asian can travel all the way to EU and get their Chanel bags with tax-refund. Europeans don’t have much choices. Can we travel all the way to US or Asia to get some tax-refund or discount? Sight, I wish Chanel could make our life easier and not harder.

Classic meaning classic in black and silver/gold hardware. But you will find for example the Boy Bag in different styles and colors or even the Reissue 2.55
My husband will be flying from London in December and I wanted him to get the mini classic flap for me.was wondering if they always have it in stock at the airport since a seasonal bag? Please help

Hi Selina, the mini classic flap bag, I am not sure whether they have this bag. I know they have WOC. Usually they have stock at the airport.
The Mini Classic Flap Bag is not a seasonal bag, the colors are seasonal, but not the bag.
