Ok, so I must confess that I’m guilty. I’m guilty of a crime that I know is common amongst us handbag lovers. So, I have two Chanel handbags that I wish I never purchased. Please tell me I’m not the only offender. The two bags that I regret purchasing are a pink Chanel jumbo bag, and a Chanel WOC.
I purchased the pink jumbo a couple years ago; I fell immediately in love with it as soon as I saw it. When I ordered it, it only took a week for it to arrive. For about two weeks, I used it several times. However, I started to prefer my Chanel 2.55 reissue. Since then, I haven’t touched it.
The Chanel WOC is the Navy Camelia model. I don’t really use it anymore because it’s so small. How am I supposed to put all of my stuff in there?
Now I’m left with the consequence of ill decision making. I guess I just bought them for aesthetic purposes at the time. Instead of hitting the streets and showing these awesome bags off, they’re just ancient relics of infatuation hanging in my closet.
My friends suggested that I just sell them on Ebay, and get some of my money back. But, for some strange reason I can’t see myself parting with them. Share your bag regrets!
I know I’m not the only one. Let me know if you have any bags just lying around because you never use them. And if you do, don’t feel bad about it. You’re not alone.

It hardly wear my red lamb skin jumbo classic, because I feel it’s too loud for me. I bought it 2 years ago in Paris. I thought I wanted something different, red, after previous years I bought black mademoiselle and silver 266 reissue..
Then my hubby told me to see it, I took couple of pics, but till now I never post it on eBay.. Just last week I wore it again.. Same as you I had this connection with my bag.. I think I will never sell my bags, if I die I would them to my sister or my my daughter in law 🙂
I REALLY love your story, especially the last quote: ‘If I die I give to my sister or daughter in law’. I think once we bought our handbags, we don’t want to let it go, somehow it’s attached to us.
BTW I love the black mademoisselle and the reissue bag. So that compensate. But red is a color that matches only a few clothing style. The color red is also very attention-grabbing. But is it in GWH or SHW?
