I just saw that Chanel has created the Chanel Classic Flap Bag with Micro Cannage. Here’s what I think:

This new style is part of the Classic Flap Bag Collection. I know this because it uses the same style code. I was surprised when I saw that the body was completely different. Usually, Chanel only changes the colors or leathers.

I feel that this bag is very sophisticated and ‘busy,’ but it’s definitely eye-catching. For some people, it might be too attention-grabbing; I do feel that the original version is easier on the eyes.

It’s a beautiful bag. Besides the addition of micro quilting, the other parts have not changed, like the woven chain strap and CC logo. The interior has the same compartments and red shade as the original version.

If this is your first time buying, I would stick to the classics because they are a safe bet and hold better value. If you really love this bag and like a sharp, complex design, then this is perfect for you.
