Besides the large iconic Boy clasp (which is already impressive), the shoulder-chain is extremely thick and large. It’s not made for everyone, but only for those that are bold and understand how to match it with the right accessories.
What’s even more intriguing, are the woven chains embellished around the edges. The chains are put together in three rows and goes from the back all the way to the Boy clasp on the front. Thee rest of the body is completely quilted.

just bought this bag in black, but one thing bugs me that I found a big crease at the back side of the bag, the SA told me that was very natural and normal thing for this bag because of hand-made, also this was a little big old-aged fashion bag. I am wondering if crease is really pretty standard in this chained bag or flawed? Thank you very much!
Hi Wanda, many handbags that are hand-made does have crease or slightly imperfection because… it’s handmade. This is a really nice bag and will certainly have high re-sell value (esp. in black) if you decide to sell it to sponsor another bag. Whether the cease is acceptable depends on the size and whether its really visible. Do you have a picture?

I think it is visible, but another bag in the store also has a cease at the back side. SA said it was very normal, it was not a quality problem ~~I’m quite confused
Hi Wanda, handmade bags always have slightly imperfections, but the question you should ask yourself is, it its acceptable for you. If not, check if you can switch to another one. But the another bag, is it the same style?

You should buy whatever you love, but the classic quilted boy is better in terms of investment. You will know that when the price increases in Europe, your bag will go up. The black quilted is the most classic.

Chanel is mainly focused on the 2.55 reissue, Classic Flap Bags and the Quilted Boy Bags. The goal is to also increase the seasonal bag prices by the end of this year.

Hi Joanna, the price should be the same because Chanel only increased the prices of the iconics.
Unfortunately this is not correct, the small version of this bag now after the price increase was 4450€, the last time I checked the chanel website. Considering that I paid less (4350) for the bigger version, I suppose they changed also the prices of seasonal items. My SA in Milan told me they were going to increase prices of every bag, without distinction.
This model comes in black, blue and bordeaux, and, as far as I know in the small and medium size. In attached you’ll find mine which is the bordeaux medium one. I hope this could help 🙂

This bag is from the new Chanel Spring Summer 2015 Collection act 2, I am not sure whether it comes with another color. I will let you know if I spot it.
