A new bag? No, not really.

The Alma Bag has been around since the 1930’s and it’s the ‘only’ bag that stands next to the Speedy, in terms of popularity and history.

Originally, the Almba Bag was named ‘squire’, and also ‘Champs Elysees’, but it settled on the name ‘Alma’ in the end, inspired by the square that marks where the end of Avenue Montaigne meets the Seine River.

The Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2014 collection is inspired by its tradition – the Petite Malle Shoulder Bag is made with elements copied from the Classic Trunks, as well as this new Louis Vuitton Alma Bag in Malletage Leather.

An effortless silhouette, completely re-decorated with crisscross lining, which reminds us of the Maison’s Trunks back in the old days. Partly made with lambskin, cotton and synthetic ribbons body, with gold brass finishing and padlock. It also comes with a keybell, double zip closure and two handles. And with the removable strap, you can carry it cross body or on your shoulder.
