The So Black fever has infected Prada handbags too. The first hit is the Prada So Black Monochrome Saffiano Bag. The Monochrome Bag was first introduced in August 2018, but the Monochrome Flap Bag is released in May 2018. This Monochrome is the latest attempt of Prada to built a portfolio of classic handbags that can be used anytime, any day and for any age.

The Design

The Monochrome Flap Bag is just like the Chanel Squared Mini Flap Bag. It’s crafted in a boxy shape mixed with trapezoid. The Flap is built in envelope shape, which is stunning because of the refreshing Prada logo in the center.

So what’s the So Black? Well, it’s a unique yet limited combination of style, when the black leather is mixed with black hardware.

This combination is rare, so this style might only be limited available in certain seasons.

A few more notes about the handbag. It’s made from saffiano leather, which is patented by Prada. This leather is incredible strong, durable and scratch-free. It also comes with an adjustable two-tone leather strap for either shoulder carry or cross body.

And yes, the back is added with an extra zip pocket.

The interior is quite simple, there is 1 main compartment, 2 pockets inside including one with zip closure.
