Fendi Fall Collection 2013 Ad Campaign

Fendi’s ad campaign for fall 2013 really brings designer fashion to everybody. The younger fashion admirers will recognize model Cara Delevigne who features in the campaign, she adds a familiar face attracting a younger following. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld and also featuring Saskia de Brauw the campaign is perfection from the scenery, clothing and editing.

To honor the brands roots the campaign is shot high above the city of Rome, it is majestic and ancient, a beautiful backdrop in what looks like moderate temperatures but bright sunshine like in the evening. This sets the mood beautifully for the shoot as the models don practical clothing for the cooler temperatures but often constant sunshine that comes in the fall. It is great seeing the two contrasting models in this campaign as it gives viewers an idea of different looks and styles for different people.

The ad campaign includes the popular ‘mink fur’ collection, with ‘mink fur charms’ attached to the iconic 2jours and peek-a-boo totes in small size.

The striking poses dominate the photographs but do not take away from the backdrops beauty. Each model shows off the 3D fur boots, modern style Roman dresses and fur coats which contrast with the cities features. You can pick out the different influences on this collection though subtle, the colors and fur on the line patterned bag could mimic the American-Indian fashion that has proved so popular this season. The shoes are something to be admired, completely twisting very old almost renaissance show styles and turning them on their heads completely with fur and bright colors.

Lovely 2jours Mink fur tote bag, the high light of Fendi’s collection for the next season. Available in tri-colors, made from suede lining with metal feet base and two top leather handles. The cute ‘mink fur’ charm does not come with the bag, you need to buy it seperately.
