Well, nothing actually. Velvet creates a different experience than leather. It’s softer and lighter. The material is also less expensive than leather. However, Velvet is harder to maintain, as it’s more fragile and more difficult to clean.

Dior finally launches the Lady Dior Bag in Velvet, but you wouldn’t notice a thing if you don’t zoom-in to look clearer. And also, they introduce a new DIOR Charm (no, not the stiff DIOR charm). It’s the same original smooth version, but the letters are decorated with rhinestones in the center, which gives more attention because it shines.
