The Beauty Lock Bag was first-introduced in the Spring Summer 2016 Collection. The first-version was in diamond quilting just like the Classic Flap Bag, but it features a distinctive clasp. There were colors that we love, like pink with pink clasp and colors that we didn’t like, like the burgundy with black clasp.

Then in the end of the year, Chanel came up with a transparent version of the Beauty Lock. Since then we haven’t heard much about this style. Not until today! Meet the Chanel Tweed Beauty Lock Bag from the Cruise 2018 Collection.

The Design

The Classic Beauty Lock is an exceptional bag, but the transparent edition changes the experience. The Tweed re-creates the feel again, and if you put these three styles together, you will feel that they’re different handbags.

The Tweed Beauty Lock Bag gives you a multicolor fashion piece. Tweed might not be as durable as leather, but they cannot be compared because the look and the texture is completely different. The shades like terracotta, ecru, black and blue are mixed up to blend into an eye-catching beauty. Well, it’s beauty on the top beauty then.

Of course, the Beauty Lock Bag is all about the front lock. The front lock is crafted with the same colors and style as the body of the bag. The lock is very interesting because it features the CC logo, reinforced with two side studs and refined with a golden plate on top engraved with the house’s name.

The overall look of the bag is quite similar to the Classic Flap Bag. There is a flap and it comes with the woven chain leather strap for shoulder or cross body carry. The bag feels iconic, which is very important.

The Interior

The inside comes with a main compartment and patch pockets. Compare it to the M/L size of the Classic Flap Bag, perfect for everday or occasional use.
