The Design

Crafted with Diamond Quilting in Aged Calfskin, just like touching the Reissue 2.55 Bag. The leather looks like it’s been worn (and cracked), which is why the leather is called ‘aged’. It does feel incredible and the calfskin makes sure that we won’t need to baby the bag all the time.

The diamond quilting is not only to make the bag feels luxurious, but it’s an instant brand recognition as well. Just by looking at the leather, we can already feel that it’s made by Chanel.

The long shape is perfectly built to hold with one hand. You can use this clutch as a long wallet as well (if it fits inside your handbag). If so, then it’s a two-in-one bag right?

But what’s unique is the newest gold colored clasp on the front flap. And while the leather makes us feel classic, it’s balanced by the latest gold clasp with the house’s signature engraved. The clasp feels contemporary, especially because of the font that’s used to write the CHANEL logo.
