Because new Chanel bags are introduced every season, the price differs from the classic (or how we love to call it; ‘the permanent’) collection. Different skin, prints, colors and embellishments make the prices jump up or down. With Chanel, it’s usually more up than down.

But anyways, here is a very brief introduction for those who are new to Chanel. The reissue 2.55 flap bag is the exact same copy that Coco Chanel has made in February 1955. The original front lock, also known as the Mademoiselle Lock represents Coco Chanel for never marrying.

The Chanel Reissue 2.55 Flap Bag comes in four different sizes:
Chanel Reissue 2.55 Size 224 is the smallest size, comparable to the Chanel Classic Small flap Bag. The size is measured: 8″ x 6″ x 2″. The three other sizes are named 225, 226 and 227, they are comparable to the Classic Flap Bag medium, jumbo and the maxi size.

For the Pre Spring Summer 2014 Collection, Chanel has released a few interesting styles. The first one is the Chanel Reissue 2.55 Flap bag in size 226 and 227. It’s crafted from crackled patent leather and enriched with ruthenium hard ware (kind-of silver). This edition only comes in black beige and beige.
