Is this cool or not? Balenciaga has reinterpreted the Classic City Bag once again. They put a scarf on the handle and called it the Balenciaga Classic City Scarf Bag.

The scarf on handle is not a new thing; we have seen plenty of examples on Instagram and blogs where fashionista’s put scarf on their Hermes Birkin or Kelly Bag. So why wouldn’t it be cool to put one on the iconic City Bag.

The Classic City Bag was inspired by motorcycle handbags, which explains it’s bold and street style look. The printed scarf adds a feminine touch to it.

However, comparing the prices of the Classic City Scarf Bag with the original Classic City Bag, the one with Scarf is slightly more expensive.

For example, as per today (march 2019), the price of the Small Classic City Scarf Bag is €1590 euro while the original Small Classic City Bag is priced at €1450 euro.

It’s also possible to purchase the original Classic City Bag and then attach your favorite scarf on the handle yourself of course. It might save you the price differences.
