Flip Flap? Okay, I am sold.

Here’s a Pochette from the latest Fall Winter 2014 Collection, a creation of Nicolas Ghesquière. He ambitiously designed a couple of amazing pieces (including this one), blending his imagination with the elements of the brand.

The Louis Vuitton Flip Flap Pouch is partly covered with the iconic monogram canvas leather, the body is made with sheepskin, as you can see on the images. It also features a tone-on-tone metal Louis Vuitton signature on the front, truly a marvelous piece.

Nicolas explains the creation: ‘as if it could blow with the wind like feuilles’. For those who do not know what ‘feuilles’ means – translated in French is leaf. It’s a fashionable accessory to wear for everyday because it also comes with a shoulder strap. The double opening of the Pochette Flip Flap canvas evokes gracefulness.

Measuring 13’ x 8.7’ x 0.8’ (W x H x D) inches, it’s available in two colors; deep red and black, priced at $2,580 USD or €1700 euro’s at Louis Vuitton e-store.
