Every season or so, Chanel takes the inspired pieces from their classic and put it together forming a new affordable luxury bag. Already covered, the most recent release is the Chanel crossing times flap. Our lovely member Beauttee has shared not only her thoughts, but also close-up images about this bag that make us all drool. Hear her story…

The Chanel crossing times flap is from the Fall Winter 2013 Collection and one of the few affordable flap bags, embellished with the iconic CC logo, elegantly quilted and interwoven chain links that can be worn cross body or on your shoulder. Its undercover name at Chanel is ‘flap bag with an interlaced chain’, available in small size; measuring 7.1 x 5.7 x 1.6 inches, and medium measuring 5.5 x 8.3 x 1.8 inches. Obviously the medium size looks much better.

Beauttee went to her closest Chanel boutique after she discovered her Chanel small flap got color transferred. Not knowing the reason, the Shopping Assistant took a few look and decided it’s best to give a refund as it’s easier to replace broken chain than repairing expensive leather. It was also the same time that the new crossing times flap came out, thus they gave Beauttee an option to replace her current bag. As soon as she found the color pink, it was like love at first sight. Have you checked the bag yet? An exterior pocket is crafted on the back, the interior is compact and it’s made from lambskin, no caviar unfortunately. The price? Small size in USA: $2,300 and in Europe: €1.600.
